Speaker Pods for 3rd Gen

I tried asking this question in the Electronics section, but couldn't get much help.

I remember seeing someone that built speaker pods for the stock front housing on 3rd gens., but I couldn't remember who it was.

Is that person still making them?

If you are the person, feel free to PM or email me.

I am going to be doing the system soon and I am not good at fabricating stuff myself.

thanks.

IMO modding the stock housing isnt the way to go...you dont get a good flush mount and the enclosure is too small not to mention it just looks sloppy.

Its not that hard to build some yourself but James92SE sells some so you can email or PM him.

You're better off building them yourself. I've even refunded some peoples money because I have absolutely no time at all to build/ship these.

They're uber simple to do, give it a try. If I did em for you you'd probably be waiting till Christmas...

I modded my stock Blose pods with good results. I used a Rotozip to cut a perfectly sized hole for my 6.5s. They fit flush, and it looks good...

Yup, i used a scroll saw and cut out a hole to fit my Boston Acoustic 4"x6" FX7's. They sound great!

Sorry to hear that, James. I was hoping to get a pair made. I won't bother you any more.

I have some time, but I am pretty bad at making stuff. I can take stuff apart and put it together or fix broken things, but not so good at cutting and fabrication.

Anyone else interested in making a pair? Or have some for sale? I really don't want to cut up my stockers and my wife would get ****ed if I was out in the garage for hours swearing and trying to fight a bunch of wood with a saw

thanks

I got your e-mail...I can probably find some time to make some in the next week or two. I just mainly hate having people send me money when I dont have time to do it and I'm then sitting on their cash. However, finding some slivers of free time and then making some up I can usually do. I just cant do (dont want to actually) the time restraint thing when I'm sitting on someones cash. Lemme get back to you about it in the next few days

And the putting them in the stock housing isnt the best/cleanest/nicest thing to do. It looks and sounds pretty 'ghetto'
