92 SE power locks not working

Hey guys i don't know why why locks stopped working the other day. I don't know why but when i play with the main switch i hear a little tick like under the dashboard. Could this be the security sistem or something. I got under the steering wheel and saw like a little computer there and i think that's what's making the sound. Please help!!!!!

Faulty door lock timer. You can either resolder the joints or try to get a used on from a local junk yard. As for new, I have not priced one from the dealership. I am in the same boat: my door locks are intermittant. I will most likely resolder the connections inside the door timer, but I have other pressing things to attend to first.

how did you resolder the thing? i took mine out yesterday, saw all the stuff in it, looks like it'll take an hours to melt and resolder everything. could you shed me some light?

You are right. The little computer under the stearing wheel is the anti-theft system; however, that is not what controls the locking and unlocking of the doors. The door lock timer is closer to the ECU behind the radio.
