300zx rims

Can I fit 16" 300zx rims on my 3:d gen Maxima? Bolt pattern is the same but how about the offset?

Re: 300zx rims

yes you can, you can only use the NON-TURBO 300zx wheels. and im pretty sure that you need some wheel spacers but other than that, yea they work.

you need spacers in the back as well as longer lug studs. I think that the fronts bolt right up.

Can I fit them without spacers (even if it may look bad) until I have made some?

you don't need to have them made. buy longer wheel studs from the dealer or a local tire shop, and the spacers only need to be about 5mm or so thick. you don't have far to go to keep them from rubbing.

Thank´s for all the help guys. I´ll just make some spacers myself and see how it goes. I don´t like to use spacers but it´s my daily driver so i guess i just have to live with it.

Why would it be difficult?? I´ll just make som spacers. What I meant was that I dont like spacers because of the extra weight (can´t really describe because of my poor english it but you guys know what Imean and how important it is too keep the weight below the shocks and springs down) resulting in poor handling, but I don´t mind that on this car. Besides It´s hard to find rims where I come from ->Sweden :-D. Thank´s again for all the info!

do you have a machine shop handy? Making quality spacers isn't something that's easy to do, unless you've got a machinist around. you can't just stack washers on the studs and drive away...

I do have a machine shop handy but I´ve never done this before (have to do it myself). I´ll try and see how it goes, if I mess uo at least i´ve learned something. Does it have to be in perfect balance or can that be corrected with weights on the rims?

Why fix something that is off weight with more weight? Just make sure they are balanced correctly.

I suggest just buying some and being done with it. 5mm spacers don't cost much. for the time it would cost you to machine a set, you could sell fast food and make enough money to buy them. You'll also be sure they're of good quality if you buy them.
H&R make good ones. they're a little more $ than the others, but the quality is better too.

They make killer spacers and adaptors as well, and cheaper than H&R

My advice would be to buy wheels that don't need spacers at all, but that's just my $.02
