I regret to say(kind of) that i sold my maxima...im no longer a maxowner
My 90 was going downhill pretty fast as far as the motor and suspension and it would of just been more of a loss to put money into it. I will probably not buy another max till i can afford a 4th gen so im gona go away for a while

I just bought a 90 Taurus SHO today in good shape for 2000...i have to say i like it a lot better than my old maxmia.Im sure a low milage 92+ SE would be better than a SHO but i couldnt afford one of those

why did u jump from a maxima to a taurus?????

 

Because my maxima was starting to run rough(engeine noises), and it was an auto VG...this SHO is a LOT faster and a 5-speed, and probably as reliable
I used to own a SHO before i got my maxima, and i liked it more, thats why i went back.

 

good choice for a transition car though...SHO is a pretty good "sleeper car" if you choose to mod it and its got a pretty good aftermarket too, 5spd and 200hp, you're set!!! but look for another Max man, you'll never feel the same about the SHO, like you did about your Maxima!!

 

i don't know about the reliability of the SHO...just giving u fair warning.
