Conversion: Tailight 92SE -> 90SE

How difficult is it to take the 3 piece tailight from a 92-94 SE and install it in a 90 SE? Are they identical with regards to install. Thanks-

so you want smoked tails???? leave the 92-42 se tails alone, love those years a$$es.. but of course that is my opinion...
and its not hard... just take off all the bolts and its also tacky glued on, so its pretty sticky

are you looking for some 90 se tails?? Do you have pictures of the 92 se rear? If it's the one I'm thinking of i'd be willing to trade you for the rear tails off of my 90 se. let me know.

if they look like crazy4maxima's then i would love to trade (i hope you don't mind me using your picture crazy4maxima. if you do i'll take it off).

I'm looking to pick up the 92-94 look for my 90 as well. But I'm still a little unsure if it is a straight exchange to install into the 90.

YES its an exact swap. You can put any 3rd gen tails on any other 3rd gens...as long as they werent custom tails of course (Stu, Shaved etc.)

you have to swap the backings (where the bulbs twist in) because they are shaped differently from 89/91 to 92/94.
a friend of mine recently swapped from 89-91 tails to 92-94 tails and forgot to get the backings. he was w/o tailights for a week.
so make sure you get the backings when you do this.
