I think it's something like 8-9 point something seconds for the stock automatic GXE.

SE's are faster.

My GXE goes from 0-60 and thats all im worried about. Fast enough, but no racing cars here, unless you got 3-5 g's to spend on a supercharger.

I dont know what you are expecting. For a four door family sedan, 6.7 to 60 is pretty damn fast. Yes those are the fastest ones.

well acually i think the 95 to 99 are nearly just as fast considering they are around 100 pounds lighter and have the same hp but more torque and the 5th and 6th gen 2002 and on are much faster more like 5.8-6.0 stock

have you ever driven a 92 to 94 se 5spd if you go test drive one youll get all the proof you ever need

if you want it in writing go here http://www.angelfire.com/pa3/ford/performance1.htm
although the time is definitly higher look at how inconsistent they are showing the 93 tt 300z doin it in 5.2 and the 94 doing it in 6.0 and i cant find that article that said 6.7 either but i saw it at my cousins house because he was acutaly telling me i should get one because there so fast but like i said go test drive a good running one and youl understand

You seem to forget that it's not the car. One still has to drive it to get whatever times. So just because a magazine can get xxx times, doesn't mean you/someone else will.

Please explain why you need such "proof" and why you are persuing this so much.

mags test cars brand new, so it could go either way. Cars that are still "green" could be slower, while cars that are broken in and still tight tend to be faster than a car with 100.xxx miles

I've seen the article on the 92 SE VE 5 spd and it was a 6.7 0-60 time that Car and Driver was able to achive. As previously stated in this thread, this will vary due to conditions and/or driving ability. I know that up until 2000 the 95 SE was the fastest one Car and Driver tested.
