suspension techniques swaybars!

I needed the know the big difference in the effect of the diameter of the front sway bar by suspension techniques? is it the bigger the diameter of the bar the better or quicker response you will get?? either a Sway Bar - Front - 1 1/4" Diameter , or Sway Bar - Rear - 3/4" Diameter I already have on the rear, but not to sure of the size want to say 1/4 inch let me know?? what one to go with???

the Sus Tech sway bar is the same diameter as the factory bar, but it's solid. the factory is hollow- weighs about 8 lbs. the Sus Tech bar weighs about 25 lbs.
much stronger.

as a general rule, the larger the diameter, the stiffer the bar is going to be. in the case of hollow bars though, all of that goes out the window. they can be hollow, solid, thick wall, thin wall, etc etc etc.

so matt i should go with the 3/4 inch sway bar then?? for a better responsiveness? compared to the 1/4 inch diameter bar??

yeah, I was in a sour mood.

Suspension Tech Rear Bar is 3/4", there is another one on the market that is 7/8".

My opinion is there there shouldn't be that much difference between them.

The stock one that you have, (1/4" or more likely 3/8") is not quite worthless, but you will notice a big difference if you get an upgraded bar.

You can buy the Sus Tech bars as a set (I did) and it is well worth the money.
