Automatic Transmission

Hey, i have a 91 SE with the 5 speed automatic transmission. Its been having a very rough 1st to 2nd shift that goes away after the tranny is heated up, leading me to believe (and the experts at AAMCO) that is is just "gunk" on the valves. I don't want to put in any additives, and i've heard that cleaning the Accumulator and checking for broken springs on that could be the cause of the shift problem. But i cant' find the accumulator, i have no clue what it looks like or anything. If anybody has a diagram or something, anything, to help me out in finding that, please leave one, thanks
