New member, New 92 SE with 30k miles!
Hey all, new to the org, just thought id drop a line. Just bought a 92 max SE with 30,000 miles on it. This car drives like its brand new. Check it out. Click here
The only problem is its an automatic. The good thing is, I am also the proud owner of a 94 SE 5 speed with 1000 miles on a rebuilt trans. check it out. Click here
I plan on switchin them out here within the next few weeks. Any comments, suggestions or questions feel free. Just wanted to say this site has been a big help, found pretty much everything i need to help with this project.
Thanx again

Thats pretty good, enjoy it and with that low mileage it should feel awesome. You said the auto tranny sucks but you can get a vB mod (valve body) modification and that will make it better. I thought I had low mileage but I'm hiting 89k very soon. Nice color

have you done a carfax on that car?
Do you actually have possesion of the car yet?
both vin #'s that are in the ad do not come back as valid when I ran em through my handy dandy VIN decoder.

I think the VIN misprint looks like a typo in the 4th digit, not a totally different VIN.
Car looks great. I assume what you are going to do is take the 5-spd and variable intake from the green car and swap with the white one?
Sounds like a good plan, since your 5-spd is recently rebuilt. It should be like having a virtually new 5-spd car, plus one good runner to use as a daily driver or to sell.

Hey guys, thanx for lookin out on the whole VIN thing. They listed it
wrong both times, but i finally got the real one, everything came back clean. One owner. I actually have had the car for close to a month now.
hauls ***** for an automatic. It kills my 94, but then again my 94 has 112k on it. Flew down to florida from Iowa and drove it back. 16 hours, but it was well worth it. Heres the original title if you all want to gander at it.

geocities sucks so if it comes back as "This page is not available." its
not my fault, try it a little later.
Once i start swappin trannys Im also gonna start on the turbo project. Twin turbo i should say, Allready have most the parts, only thing im not soo sure about is where the oil lines and coolant lines need to be tapped into the engine and what not. Ive searched and found some info, but nothing too helpful. If anyone can help, or refer me to previous posts, please do. Thanx all

Actually its an Erebuni body kit with screws exposed. Inexperience and painting it before actually putting it on will do that for ya.

Matt- thats the first think I looked for aswell. In both of my cars it never matched, but it was better in the black one.
Also why put VG gauges on a VE? Its probably just an overlay, but still..... then your speed would be wrong. oh well.
