Don't look to bad. How complete is your front clip?
Looks like you'll need a rad support.
Have you ran the car yet?
Stick or Auto?
To bad it ain't a VE though

Front clip is complete and still on the 93 SE with a blown motor, I'm pulling the clip so anything I need is available.

Yep need a radiator support and the rails have a slight sway to the right that the body shop will pull.

Car runs nice and drives nice, no exhaust noise and clean underneath (checked while I had it up on the wheellift behind my tow truck)

And it's a stick.

And it's not a VE but I'll have less than $750 into the car when I'm driving it, I'll take a VG for that.

How bad's the 93 SE?
You might wanna build that one up. If you only need a motor then rebuild it yourself and run with it. believe me you won't regret it

All of these parts are on a 93 SE at the local salvage yard, I'm good friends with the owner and told him if he lets me I'll sell all the parts off the car that he doesn't have people already waiting for.

So let me see what I can do I know nubiannupe needs a fender and door for Drivers side and that's on my list along with the parts you two have asked for.

...and when you head out there, let me know. There's one, possibly two, engine parts I might need. And if you need any help on the rebuild, I'm "in da hood"!

Front end is tore down and looks pretty swayed, but body shop says "mild" sway.

More pics are posted.

Well it's been a week since I towed it into the lot to begin stripping it down for the frame rack.

The body shop got the frame work done so back it came to the shop along with the donor car for a bit of work.

Fresh pictures posted for those that are interested.

Nice...

Just wondering... do you still have access to the donor car??? I'd be interested in the tails sans center piece if they're fine...

nozama,

that is great. i love stories like this: the resurrection theme. you are saving a 'still viable' car from a terrible fate of rotting and neglect, and, ultimately, the crusher. i am glad, too, that you are saving a VG maxima. way to go.

what is the story of the donor car? it looks pretty normal in the pics.

Blown motor, broken window passenger side, interior shot.... General neglect.

I paid $100 for the frame rack, the rest is all me.

Approximately $70 in paint supplies.
