Now What?

I am trying to get rid of the clattering in my vtc's. I have followed the instructions from craigs site and tested the power at the connector terminals. The red wire has power and the yellow/green does not affirming the test.

My question is do I now plug the terminal conector back into the VTC plug, or do I leave the two wire connector unpluged?

When I plug the terminal back onto the VTC the clatter remains; when I remove the plug the clattering is eliminated. Can I just leave it unpluged or am I missing something?
THANK YOU

Yes I'm trying to ground them, but not to the intake though. I followed the grounding procedure from craigs site in the 3rd gen facts thread.
