I have a basic question. The button near the automatic gear box in the center console that switches between power and comfort, what is the purpose of it? What does it do?

 

controls shift points under mild to moderate driving

 

it basicly changes the the RPM level when gears are shifted.
under comfort gears will shift lower
and under power gears shift higher (i dont remember the exact level)
