Fuel smelling exhaust and horrible gas mileage - 103,000 miles, I am suspecting O2 sensors...I looked on carparts.com and I don't know which sensor to order. Has anyone ordered O2 sensors from carparts. Can you tell what part number to order under the sensors section and how many do I order/replace for 3rd Gens.....

I believe the part # is 13287, but dont' quote me on that.
do a search for oxygen sensor, then find the bosch sensor. it's around $100.
maybe try doing a part # search on the 13287..

you only need one sensor for a 3rd gen.
it's connected to the Y just behind the sway bar. use a 17mm wrench to unscrew. the plug for the sensor is mounted to the rear engine mount. that's about all there is to it.

yup, that's it!
and yes.. they are heated (as much as people think they're not sometimes, they indeed are).. don't touch it if you've had the ignition on within the last 10-15 minutes.. you'll leave a few layers of skin on the sensor when you jerk back in pain after hearing your finger sizzle!

Got mine from JCwhitney.com--->

$63 shipped, should be here this week, doesn't have an OEM wire harness but a little splicing done correctly shouldn't hurt!
