My old max...robbery

Wudup

As some of you may know I sold my 3rd gen in August. I sold it to a friend and he lives in like a ½ good ½ bad neighborhood.

It has 2 12"s and a HU, someone tried to jack the HU and broke the dash console where the HU is.

PROBLEM: His blinkers don't work. Hazards and blinkers are out. He checked ALL fuses, they're good.

Any help?

If someone tried to break the console, they may have broken the hazard switch. Both hazards and signals are controlled by this switch. Try swapping yours in, and see if that does it.

if the hazzard switch is unplugged, the blinkers will not work. make sure all the connections are good on the switch.

No, what you're hearing is people confirming on what the problem is.

LOL - you ******!

But thats the kick in the pants....it's plugged in. Unless those bandits DAMAGED the switch itself.

When he found the car...the hazard BUTTON w/ the lil triangle was on the floor....

I was just kidding. Thought it was funny that he had you for awhile on that one.

But you can't trust anything DA-MAX says, especially after you see the boxes that he ships stuff in

but Klown, you gotta admit...my interiror packaging/stuffing is ON POINT....bubble wrap, newspaper, the works...so anything I ship isn't gonna get damaged I overdo that sometimes though

same thing happened to me... the *******s (can i say that?) ripped the dash off in a hurry, and broke the hazard switch. i plugged it back in, but it still didn't work, so i took it apart, noticed that some plastics were broken and springs were missing, reglued the plastic with KA cement, and used some mechanical pencil springs ... put it all back together and it works, but if you want to use the hazards, you have to turn them off by whacking the switch til it pops back out since the springs i used weren't long enough. Good luck.

Oh yeah. It was probably the best packed box I've ever seen. Not only were the goods intact, but I could read the comics when I got done installing it. Thanks again for all the transactions
