What are the best shocks??

Hi, guys I really need an opinion here if you don't mind!
I did do a search but after reading a bit I'm still a bit confused.
I am about to buy the 4 struts\shocks for my 93 max gxe.
I know that Konico is good but a bit expensive, also koni and KYB GR-2, which seem a bit cheaper.
which would you recommend?
Thanks a lot for your expert opinion guys.

Depends on your driving style, what springs you will be using and what you're looking for. If you're looking for a good OEM replacement strut go with the KYB's. The Tokico's are next in line with the Koni's being the best option. With this order of course the cost factor increases. The Koni's are adjustable, you can adjust the rebound stroke while the other two are not adjustable. Members have praised all three so I don't think you have anything to worry about, get what you can afford.

I just want to add that the Koni's add an extra level of complexity as the fronts are inserts, so you have to cut the top of the stock struts off, pull them out and put in the Konis. But they do offer the best performance.
