Ok guys the camera is not that wonderfull as you can see the rest of the pics did not come out that clear and the pipes and intercoller are sitting on the floor if you want i will post a bucnh of pics that all you can see is black and some lighter color looking lines which would be the turbo pipes and intercooler sitting on the floor, I have already have my new 8.5:1 pistons in the car with new rods Vg30TT copper head gasket, Vortec FMU 12:1, Apexi SAFC , New Fuel Pump (Inline) , the only thing that i have left to do is to weld in a BOV into the last section of my intake piping, any one have a BOV there looking to get ride of for cheap? And if you guys read the rest of my car domain page at the top it will tell you that its a Garrett M24 off of a Nissan Skyline. Maybe if you werent so busy being a ****in smart *** you would see it.

sorry my internet xray vision glasses is in the shop so i can't see the pipes and the intercooler that's in the dark in the background.
oh and reading the rest of the site...how did u fit the 4 piston calipers under the stock 15 GXE rims? or how are you planning to?

I didnt say that they were in the background i said that the pictures didnt come out so i didnt post them!! The calipers that i used were not a direct fit for the nissan maxima but they do fit under the stock 15" rims so thats how i made them fit the Stainless Steel Braking Bracking Part # A181 Had to make a small adapter for the rear mount on the caliper they will even work with stock rotors but i upgraded twice to Brembo rotors. Ya know this is supostu be a site where you talk about the cool **** on your cars not where you go to defend yuour self about everyting. wtf
first of all your website also says your running 14.8's or is that estimated with the turbo. are you an auto or 5spd. im not trying to me a d*ck or anything but DA-MAX is right about those injectors i hope you have an in car fuel pressure guage, that way you can see when your hitting 120+psi and start locking up your injectors which will = your motor blowing and more that likely this will happen before you even reach 250hp but youll be lucky if that turbos big enough to support that much, Exh. .55 Int. .50 those A/R's are smaller than a stock Z31 T3 and even those guys cant get 290hp out of them, they start to loose eficiency at like 12LB's which means yours will at like 10lb's and your not going to be make no 290hp at 10lb's. your motors biult now just get an in tank walbro, aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, bigger injectors and a bigger turbo and youll be set.

all this under 20 posts under your belt. anyone can write a list of parts on a website and anyone can take pics of loose parts. i have tons of that. show us something that has substance..a pic of a engine w/ new pistons u claim to have. show us the piping from the turbo to the exhaust (downpipe). show us how the fuel lines are run. so far what i read and see..you're pretty much BSing us...but that's just my thoughts.
also i want to see your 4 piston calipers fit in the stock rim..take a few pics of that.

turbo brings out the worst in 3rd gens...

Looks like the turbo he has will handle 1.2 bar and has ball bearing cunstruction. 1.2 bar translates into about 17.4 psi. That's quite a bit of boost. It's a much better design than the 300zx T3 and I think it is actually not much smaller. It looks like they used the same turbo on the 300zx as they did the R31 GT-S with the RB20DET.

With as many turbo posts as we get from newbies, nobody really believes anyone anymore. I guess you took Dan's comment the wrong way at the beginning. Anyone can buy a turbo and say that they are on the way to building a turbo monster. For all he knew, that's all that you had compiled.

Actually, that's the VG30DET turbo they are talking about. It's a ceramic ball bearing turbo i believe. There was one on my friend's VG30DET but it was bad.Originally Posted by subs1000w

On the Z31 turbo I think the 10 psi limit if non-aftercooled and 15 psi is the limit intercooled. I think you can get it to 17 but it starts making a lot of heat.

Just curious, what is aftercooled? does it just mean having some type of heat transfer device or something installed after the turbo but before the throttle body? I just would rather be sure than assume so.Originally Posted by mtcookson

aftercooler is the correct term to what most people use to cool the compressed air from a turbo or supercharger. intercooler is used in a two-stage turbo or supercharger setup. it can also be used in a turbo/supercharger setup where both are used. a two-stage setup was used on a lot of old WWII airplanes and very, very rare and exotic race cars. Aftercooler simply mean cooling after the charge. Intercooler is cooling inbetween the two compressors. I think Volvo was the company that messed up and put a badge that said Interooler or Intercooled and that pretty much messed it up since then.
The 100,000 dollar thing happened on a LS1 forum. I think it got deleted but I pretty much remember what happened.
edit: it's 150,000 dollars. forgot about that extra 50 grand.

Well, for a year he wouldn't post pictures (you know some people, security reasons) so these guys didn't believe him for the entire year. Just recently he finally posted pictures and guys still didn't believe him. One guy said something about a penny so he posted a picture of his car again and had his fingers in the picture with a penny. Again, guys didn't believe him and said it was photoshopped. The owner of the car told the guy who thought it was photoshopped to get 150,000 dollars in 100's and 50's together and sort them to say LS1.com and photoshop that into the picture of his car. The guy was like, there's no way I could get 150,000 in 50's and 100's and just got a picture of a pile of money and photoshopped it onto his car. Look very fake, of course. Well eventually on page 9 the owner went off on the guy who claimed he was photoshopping everything and told him he wasn't reading his posts well because he was saying the owner posted stuff that he didn't post. In the same post he said something like here is your proof and had a few pictures that are no longer there and I didn't save all of them. The only one i saved was this...

i believe the Nissan Leopard. It's pretty much the same thing as the Infiniti M30 over here however the M30 came with a VG30E... ****es me off, lol.

Well the lights are custom, there not as they were from the factory and i modded them there just sanded and buffed to a smooth finish then painted black and the clear coated so its not really a big deal but there still custom. I got pics of the pipes and **** for you guys ill post the rest of the pics at around 12 today when i get out of school ITT wont let me plug in my camera. Anyway see ya till the new pics at noon

Will post pics of my turbo and the pipes i have already made.
