Keypad numbers!
The person who I bought my Maxima from didn't know the keypad number....he only used the 9 LCK button when he left the car, as i do...I want to be able to use it all but i dont know the code, they is a code inside my glvoe box but doesnt seem to be it...any help?

ok, here you go. this is my own write up of the instructions based on other ones i have seen.
Operation of Keyless Entry System on 3rd Generation Nissan Maxima GXE (1989-1994)
***Should you lose the master passcode number, do not worry. Under the passenger side of the dash on the right side is a brass box. The code is located on it.To get to it, lay on your back with your head under the dashboard. the box will be to your left in this position. It will say something like (example) S1239359 on it.***

To reset and enter your own personal code:
1.Press the ST button on the door.
2.Enter the master passcode.(xxxxxxx) (each vehicle has a unique master code).
3.A long beep will sound for about ten seconds.
4.While this beep is sounding, enter a 4-7 digit personal code.If successful, a series of short beeps will then sound, confirming your code is set.
***NOTE: TWO NUMBERS CANNOT BE USED TOGETHER IN SEQUENCE; IE: 1127. A code such as 2437 should be used, with no two like numbers in series as mentioned above***
5.You are done. To use, simply press ST and enter your personal code. Your locks will then open. If you mess up entering your personal code, press ST again to clear the procedure,and re-enter personal code.*NOTE* The system will lock out after about 3 tries to enter a code. wait until the keypad lighting goes out and then enter your code*
6.To roll down the front windows after you have entered your code,press and hold the button labeled WDW.(windows cannot be rolled back up with the keyless entry).
7.To open the trunk after your code is entered, press the button labeled TRK.(trunk must be manually re-closed).
8.To lock car, press the button labeled LCK.
