Dyno

Had my car put on the dyno today. Best run was 125.34hp 151.96torque. I have bought the pacesetter headers and im planning on getting a dyno after the install to let you all know what the change is. Ill post further info after Thanksgiving for that is when im installing headers.

I dyno'd at 164.5 FWHP and 161.something in FWTQ.

Good numbers for a VG though. Keep up the good work and let us know how those headers work out.

Never had my car dyno'd. It's still pretty much stock. How much does it cost on average?

Depends on where you go and who you know, but costs should run $40-80 for three pulls.

So what... I dyno'd 171 HP and 183 TQ. And I'm an auto. But I might have more mods than you. Haha, just kidding. It just sounds like you're trying to "one up" somebody by telling us your dyno numbers.

The only mod Dave has is a K&N Cone filter.

Aaron, any plans to dyno with the cut out open/close?

I want to. But we are talking about a one tenth gain in the 1/4 mile. Probably something like 5hp. I ran my car at the strip tonight and came to the conclusion that I got .15 faster in the 1/4 when compared to the stock Bpipe and muffler. Not too bad considering that is probably the gain you will see from a nice aftermarket catback exhaust. But with the cutout, you can be quiet and as loud as you want and anything inbetween.

I think that's right around where I was when I dyno'd my car back in May. If I remember correctly, I think it was 174/180. But my car runs like SugarHoneyIceTea. I'm sure I could do better...

tricked666, take a look at your o2 sensor bung @ the 2 to 1 section it's huge compared to a maximas o2 sensor, they do supply an adapter that is also too big. I bought the headers also, and there is a thread consering this issue, search for " pacesetter bung", http://www.geocities.com/punabrew/index.html

We covered this a couple of weeks ago.
Your best bet is to use the o2 from a 300zx

Not on these olda cars. Most o2s are the same basic things.
We just have small stock ones. instead of the more common large ones.
You want pics?

Um, save yourself alot of time,money,frustration....pacesetter is the worst junk out there. I recently installed some on a 90 and the list of problems goes on and on.Send them back before they make you want to kill the mexicans that built them.pm me if you want to know more.I was a pacesetter dealer for about 2 weeks.never again!

I have no clue why it looks like that. Some say I had a vaccum leak, and some say it's cuz I didnt have a tune up before I went.

there is a 4th gen wagon though... it comes to newzealand under the cefiro badge, but it has the exact front of a 4th gen here. the back isnt too nice on the eyes though.
