Ok, I've noticed for the past couple of months that my front passenger side wheel usually collects about 2x as much brake dust than any other wheel on my Max. This is also the same wheel that has a bent abs sensor, which keeps my abs light on at all times. I'm just wondering if this is something I should be concerned about or not, because I am.

 

Just keep an eye on the pad wear and you'll be okay. you might have a frozen slider pin on that caliper though, so it probably wouldn't hurt to pull the wheel off and check things out.

if everything's okay, then put 'er back together and go on about life.

might want to put a layer or two of wax on the wheels to help prevent the dust buildup. works pretty good.

As far as checking the brakes goes, I don't know what I'm looking for. I know what the pad wear should look like, but I don't know what a frozen slider pin looks like or how to tell if it is frozen. I do know that my breaks tend to squeal a little bit when I stop and I had new pads put on last Dec.

 

pull the wheel off and try to move the caliper side to side (make sure they're cold before you grab them!)
you should be able to move them a little bit side-to-side just due to space between the pads and rotor and stuff.

If not, take a 12mm wrench and pull the two small bolts off on either end of the caliper, tilt the caliper up, and play with the slider pins then. the caliper will still be attached to one of them, but the other one should move freely. (well it's covered in grease, so it won't be easy, but you should be able to tell the only resistance is the grease.)
