I'm sure some of you must have experienced the speedo gauge reading some crazy speeds or not registering at all. If you have, and fixed it, what was it? The transducer on the transmission (auto) was replaced 12 - 18 months ago so it might not be that, but no guarantees!

I seem to have an intermittent fault (maybe loose wire or short?).

If you can tell me what was replaced, where it is located on the car and how (if you can) you check its function.

Ta.
