I had this installed on my car (VG engine) last week, and thought I would let you all know how it performs. I'm not sure if they've began marketing it yet or not, but look for it soon. http://www.warpspeedperformance.com

I think it's simply awesome. I have no way of actually dyno testing it or anything, but it is very noticable. Even my wife, who seldom drives my car, called me from the car phone as soon as she left and said "WOW"! The engine has a nice, tight sound, after it hits about 2600 RPM. At idle, it is as quiet as stock. If I had to estimate the HP gained, I would guess 4-6 HP, on the conserve side. I plan on having the Warpspeed Y-pipe put on next week, which will only compiment the CAI.

It looks very professional, too. Mine is a silver metal color, but I think they will have a couple color options as well. I can't tell any difference in gas mileage, as I haven't gone through a tank yet. I think it will be about the same as before the CAI, even driving WOT much of the time, just to hear the great sound and feel the extra HP. These guys are great to work with too.

I was wondering if you had a popcharger before the CAI. If you did, is there that much difference between the two? I think that if the difference is not THAT noticeable, then I will just stick with my pop even though a CAI would be sweet.

I had just the stock airbox until the CAI was installed. IMO, I think you would notice a difference, due to the fact that the air would be coming in much colder than under the hood. From what I've heard, the price on these will be cheaper than the competition. If you already have a K & N filter, maybe they would just sell you the piping???

WarpSpeed CAI

Thanks for the kind words Isaac. Dallas and I are pleased with the fit. I have had one on my VE for about 1K now and really enjoy the gains. We will be offering them for sale in several days, if the No Name brand of oil bath filters meet our expectation. The first 10 will be in black, other colors may be available if you are interested.Expect to pay around $160 or so. If you want to get on our list, e-mail Dallas. As I posted before we are thinking of offering them with the y-pipe for a slightly lower price if you buy both. Just like we offer our exhaust systems. On to the 4th Gen CAI! Dan WSP
