diagnosed one problem with torque converter...but some other questions

An old post from 2001 described one of my problems to the T so I need to know where this is so I can learn how to fix or replace this.( see bold text) My other problem after doing basic test with plug wires (pulling one at a time to see if engine power becomes less) found that one is not firing right. It might be just that the injector connectors need to be cleaned http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....njector+recall but if not needing to replace an injector. im wanting to keep this car for at least another 2-3 yrs so im willin to drop the 3 bills to get 6 @ 45 a piece but before i do that can someone give me a brief description on how to access injector connectors so that i can inspect/clean them to see if that solves some of the problem (if sending link to chiltons manual show me exact page I dont think i recognized area on vg engine from link I had
"2.) Torque converter lock up solenoid (if the car has an automatic
transmission). The solenoid is meant to activate at highway speeds
locking up the transmission to the engine like a manual trans clutch not allowing any slippage. If the solenoid sticks on all the time it makes the car act like a standard transmission with the clutch always engaged. Try this - if
at a stop and if shifting the transmission to neutral makes the problem go away you have identified this as the problem."
