Auto to Manual Tranny Swap

I just bought a 90 maxima with a bad tranny (had to tow it home cause it doesnt move). Tonight I am going to start swapping the auto for a manual. Unfortunately I am not able to search on this site for some reason and I was kinda wondering how many other people have done this and what problems they ran into. Anyways, if anyone could let me know that would be very helpful. Also, should I just pull the engine or put it on a lift and try going at it from below? I am used to working on rear wheel drive 350 V8's so this is kinda a new experience for me.

Everything just bolts on...........

Makes it sound so simple. Who would be dumb enough to swap anything into a slow VG? Morons, all of you!

VE is slow too when compared to all of todays modern cars which come stock at like 260 HP!
