very little if you turn the wheel all the way and the car has force of a turn on the suspension, it only happens if i try a u turn, or turning into a parking space quickly. they are 235/40/18s im not sure the offset, but in the rear its very close to the shock tower, within about 1/4 inch.

get some 17s with 225/45/17 tires, they wont rub, and should fill the wells good. mine has not been lowered, i cant drop $500 for a set of coils/struts, also i think these 18s raised the car a bit.

225/45/17s will not fill your wheel well with stock suspension, i can attest to that

I dunno I hate big wheels like that on cars. It definitely stands out from the crowd but it looks too out of proportion with the car.

But those are definitely not as bad as that guy who put 20's on his 3rd gen, that just looked horrible!

credit where it is due

i'll give you props for the choice. you are the SUV bling chrome type. i am the exact opposite: i like understated gunmetal, race-looking GTR taste (better IMO for the 3rd gen). i prefer more tasteful wheel choice.

without flaming you and getting on a higher and more arrogant soapbox, i will just say that i tolerate your kind. but that is the extent of it. if i say anymore, i will become as tasteless as those wheels.

long live the maxima 3rd gen.

all i'm saying is 225/45/17 should fit no problem. the offset of your wheels can affect that though. if the offset is correct then that tire size should not be an issue

He didnt say anything about them not fitting. He said they will not FILL the wheel well with stock springs.

yeah I mis-read it the first time too.

ahh, yes it is the same car as had 20s on it, i pressonnaly think those 20s look best on a 4th gen, they are still for sale, but i still think they would look good with the new nitto 225/35/20s on my car cause they would be able to tuck. but thats another $800+ for tires.
