Do bad axles clunk on deceleration?

hmm?

I was leaving school and I heard a wierd clunk noise when I engaged the clutch when I was backing out of my parking spot. Then I stayed in 1st gear and would accelerate and decelerate to try and replicate it and it would only happen when I would decelerate, and only really in first gear and maybe alittle bit of second.

I havent gone out and driven in circles for a month or so, but do you think it could be a bad axle? maybe a mount or just blown or really worn strut or something?

Thanks guys
-Shawn

I need 2, maybe 3 sets of LCA bushings, maybe more, I'll ask some more of the local guys. Zip Code 98029. AIM me the price if you want/can. You were saying you have to use 2nd gen bushings? IIRC Matt said the same thing.

To do just the small steel sleeved bushing you need a Decent press and just use the bushing from an 88 or Just buy the whole control arm new or reman from either Myself or Matt

As much as you would like it to be, Napa is not the dealership.
