slight squeal after very hard braking

Well I was coming back from Best Buy driving down this street when this lady in a RSX came out of nowhere from the side streets. There was a stop sign, and I guess she didn't brake in time so half her car was in my lane. Anyways, I hit the brakes pretty hard to avoid t-boning her car. Now, I hear a slight squeal coming from the front driver side wheel at slow speeds. It only squeals below 10 mph with the steering wheel turned towards the left. I'm going to take the wheel off and have a look-see later on today. Any suggestions/ideas on where I need to focus my attention? Thanks in advance for any response.

Most likely it's glazed pads.. pull the pads off and rough up the surface with some 60-100 grit sandpaper. should solve the problem.

That indicated to me that something came loose in the suspension.
Which is wierd.
I'd normally have to agree with matt but the only when it turns left part is what bothers me.

yeah it squeaks only while i'm doing a slow turn to the left. it didn't squeak as loud today though

i was thinking, if the pads were glazed, wouldn't it squeak only when the brakes are applied?

something sounds like it bent a bit under the extreme braking.
