Tire/wheel size Question

Was wondering if anyone knew if 18" wheels and 215/45 series tires fit all right on 3rd Gens with out any rubbing. I have some enkei rs-6's, not sure what the offset is, but they need tires. Anyone else have similar set up?

I think you may have to get a bit more of an offset for them NOT to rub. I'm not certain, though, so don't quote me.

prolly worx

7/38. that will more than likely work. acceptable offsets in our case are 30-40mm. give or take. your tire size sounds, right, too for this rim diameter. try it.

According to a wheel/tire combo calculator, it should fit compared to the widest combo out there. The tire is fairly narrow and the offset is not far from optimal. Width isn't too wild either.

What tire are you going to choose for this anyway? I went to the Tire Rack to see some specs for a 215/45r18 and there are only a handful of tires this size, most of them pretty darn expensive!

thanx for the info. Much appreciated.
As far as tires I was on ebay looking at the imitation Yokohama AVS's also known as WANLI. Somewhere round 300 shipped if i remember right. I have them in 205/40/17 on my car right now, and they're not that bad. They suck shlt for snow, but wasnt really expecting too much for the price ($250 shipped).

Get 225 width. Go 225/45/18 or 225/40/18. 225/40/18 is a very popular size, so you should have plenty of choices with that.
