Stillen Short Throw Shifter installed and reviewed

Well today I installed my Stillen short throw shifter at my mechanic's place. Very easy install not complicated when its on a lift obviously. The height remains the same, the spacing between each gear is what changed, its very short and right there. Feels very sporty and the throws are way shorter. I like it a lot and I got it as a gift but for the price I think its worth it. Also some may comment that the height is what some look to change but for me I need that height in the shifter, too short and I think it would be uncomfortable. Its a great stillen product hate them or like them, they have some good stuff.

I was thinking if it was alot shorter I would switch, but if its about the same Ill just keep mine.

I cut a bunch off the top of my stock shifter and put a **** with set screws on it. Same effect. Most aftermarket shifters shorten the throw beneath the fulcrum. This keeps effort the same but shortens the throw. Taking it off the top increases effort but shortens throw none the less. Looks trick all nice and tucked down in the boot too. The increased effort is minimal. Unless you are a weak old lady.
