Cold Air Intake

How legit do you think this intake is? It says it only fits the 92-94 Max so I'm assuming its for the VE. I'm not planning on picking this up, but just wondered if anyone else had. Not a bad price at all.

It looks like one for a VE. not a bad price at all either. I think that the usual dia. of a CAI for our cars is 3" though so I am not sure how the 2.5 would do...or if it would make any difference one way or the other.

Yeah, I thought the price was great, just wasn't too sure about the quality or performance. But I guess anything would be better than stock.

I would ask the seller about fitment on a VE. Most of those people on ebay have no idea what the engines are (difference between VE and VG) on the Maxima or the size of tubing or anything. If it is 2.5" piping, somewhere there is going to be a restriction because the MAF opening is 3 inches.

That would explain the cheap price

Is the 3" MAF the same width for the VG?

That actually looks like it'll fit better than the WSP CAI..

The WSP CAI is just about a straight 90 deg. bent pipe, and inside the fender if you have a cone filter the filter jams/sits right into the frame rail. That pipe in the picture has that little blip of a bend on the tip to make the filter sit in there perfect... cant beat the price either

And yes that's most definitely for the VE
