Well there are 2 heater core hoses at the top of the engine. They come out of the back and go into the firewall (sending coolant to the heater core). I'm not sure if it would matter where the flush point begins since it will evenutally make it back to the starting point.

BTW: how much was the flush kit?

Yeah, i bought the kit too. It's worthless there was only 1 0f 5 things that you could even use. In my opinion you could get the same effect by sticking the hose in the radiator. Heater hose is definitely your best bet.

yeap, told me that. i tried that and did it for awhile till the water came out clean. but when i added coolant.....i squeezed the upper radiator hose a few and bam the inside felt like gram crackers, after the squeeze the cracker feel went away. aww crap i clogged it again or something. its still over heating ima try again tommorrow and use a coolant specified to take our residue and deposits....

-no leaks
-coolants good
-cap is new
-fans kick in, both of them

only thing i can think of is the thermostat cause the water pump is good when i was flushing it with the car on, alot more water came out. it takes about 5-10 miles for it to over heat starting on a cold start.

Replace the upper hose!
if it has any kind of buildup in it. It has been on too long.
Change the bottom one too while you're at it.
it's better than risking one popping while you're drivcing.
One of them may also be collapsing and causing the overheating (just thought about that me )

one big f*ck up. after cleaning every hose, having the flushed water come crystal clean. we drive it for a while, now its heating up see some smoke pull the hood up and see a hair line leak on plastic top of the radiator. we put some silicone = dont work it stretches. took that off, guy at autozone said use this liquid thing should solve it. he said he tried it on his had good leaks and worked good. ok we put that let it run on idle and still over heated. put the rest of the bottle and added coolant then went home. still overheating. maybe with luck it starts to fill the leak till i can get good radiator. but dam im ****ed and tired.

anyone know the estiment of a new/use radiator so i can be aware of.
