92 SE injectors

Hey.
I have replaced my injectors twice now and still having rough running and intermitent stalling. I bought used ones recenlty and 4 read 11.1 ohms while one reads 11.7, so I'm trying to figure out if this is good or bad.Can i install the 11.1 and 11.7 or are there 12.0 ohms injectors or something-which is better????

i believe as long as they are between 10 and 14 ohms they are fine. can anyone else backup my statement?

i do know that the injectors on my engine read about 12.5 and they work just fine.

Does 11.1 or 11.7mean that they are going bad or what, I' guessing since yours are 12.5??!!

when they go bad they are usually way off. not sure if they go high or low but they are way out of the range they should be in which i'm pretty sure is 10-14 ohms.

my injectors are probably at 12.5 ohms because they aren't the stock ones. they came on the turbo engine i have.

Your injectors are well withing spec.

You might want to clean your IACV (idle air control valve), If the search function is working you can find a couple old threads where I described an easy way to clean it out. Or you can remove the IACV and do a more thorough cleaning (so long as your are very carful, b/c there is a small spring that can pop out on you, its happend to others).

If you do plan on going the route of removing the IACV, then make sure you first buy the new gasket (the dealership may have to order it, none of the dealers by me carry it).

just as a side note.
even if injectors are within ohm range does NOT mean they are functioning correctly.

You can also do a fuel pressure test, to verify that the fuel press regulator isn't bad.

Another thing to check is the transistor pack, that fires the injectors.

I thought the transistor pack was for the Coils.

Yes the transistor pack is for the coils.. He's describing, "rough running and stalling" so its another suggestion. It can easily be checked out with the use of the FSM.
