yes there is a way to reset it.. the code to do this should be located under your glove box... you gotta put your passenger seat all teh way back and get on your back and look up from where your passenger's feet would be... the code should be somewhere under there... I just forgot how to use the code, but im sure someone will respond with how to use it

its very hard to see, it took me three posts and three trips out to the car to find it, its a seven didgit code on the sticker. theres a small chance that it was removed by the dealer and youll be screwed. i still havent figured out how to override it

There's two sets of numbers for the keyless entry system. The first is the fixed number, the second is the code number.

Here's how to reset the code number using the fixed number.

1. Press the start/clear button.
2. Enter the 7-digit FIXED NUMBER. A beep will sound for 6 seconds.
3. Enter a 4- to 7-digit personal CODE NUMBER while the beep is sounding.
4. After the personal CODE NUMBER is entered, the beep will sound at short intervals. This indicates successful entry of the personal CODE NUMBER.

If wrong numbers are entered, the beep will not sound. Press start/clear button, then enter a correct personal CODE NUMBER.

The following numbers cannot be entered as CODE NUMBER;
Any number where all digits are on the same button. EXAMPLE: 1-2-1-2, 3-3-4-4
Any number requiring sequential operation of the buttons. EXAMPLE: 1-3-5-7 or 7-5-3-1
Any number with 3 of fewer digits.
Any number with eight or more digitrs. Continuously pushing random buttons will cause the system to stop functioning for 6 to 30 seconds.

Once you've set the personal CODE NUMBER to what you like, hit start/clear then enter the number to test it. Press the window or the trunk buttons immediately after if you want to open the window or trunk.

Before leaving the vehicle be sure to press the lock button.

Ahh the power of search.............

And yes it's by the glove box.
