KYB GR-2s are supposedly not much stiffer than stock. However, if you are planning to drop the car with Sprints (large drop), tokicos are recommended because they are designed for performance and can supposedly handle the new geometry and forces of a dropped car. Call the guys at www.shox.com, they are pretty knowledgeable.

I "think" Tokico won't warranty their shocks of you install springs that lower the car more than 1.3-1.5". KYBs are recommended for oem replacement only.
