Are you getting body kit & spoiler? That's only way I'd say get yellow, and if you are getting a kit, yellow might look really tight.

Either that or if its stock, go midnight blue.

go dark purple. That would be original and I think might look good.

No bright, pastell, or funky color purple...just dark purple.

I would go with bloo too, but between michael and I, that would be too much blue.

Then again I wont be trying to paint my car for a few years, if ever. hehehehe

Back to playing with my spare fender

Thats why I suggested purple. Too many blues and a chance he would pick the same color I have LOL.

To those who like yellow maxes, here are my two cents: Yes, yellow is almost an original color on a max, but so is baby pink; would you paint it that?

I say dark purple like that max that had the modified WW front, the color looked good on that, or I would go with the blue that Izzy has the stock TK3 color (I think)

I think thats too bright of a color, I think a dark metalic purple would look better on a 3rd gen, I still think blue would work the best, or even the stock charcoal pearl color like Clark has, when that paint is clean it looks awesome.

yea hes got a pearl in the paint, its like the deep evergreen color on the 4th gen (nick97se for example) looks really dark, nearly black then its a cherry red/purple in direct light... cant wait till he gets that back on the road this summer

blue is nice also, its gotta be a dark shade like the saphire blue or darker.. imo i hate all these "electric blues" out there today

The right color yellow can look HOT, but I don't know about on a maxima. It would have to be really a nice max. Yellow looks best for Ferraris and Porches and exotic cars, but if done nicely can look good on a nicely modified car. If you DO go yellow, consider instead of the blakc hood, a carbon fiber hood, maybe partly painted?

Well if he doesn't care for a nice burgundy wine color he's probably not going to be too crazy about purple.
