PCV Valve Location/ Temperature Switch
PCV Valve Location/ Temperature Switch
Hi everyone......nice forum! Anybody knows the location of the PCV Valve on a 93' VE30DE, automatic? Also, the temperature selector switch only goes from cold to the middle and that's it. Does not go to the hot side. Any ideas?? Any help is appreciated....

Uhh dude, if your temp goes to the hot side, you have major issues, it should never get above the middle point unless it is REALY hot out and only a tad bit over the middle in that case.
The PCV is located on the valve cover, there is a large vaccum hose going to it.

The PCV valve is located behind the intake manifold, close to the firewall. Find the NISSAN etched into the upper part of the manifold, and look behind it it. About 8" down, there will be a rubber hose coming out of the manifold at a 45 degree angle. It is connected to the PCV valve. There is another valve for the brake booster that looks similar, so make sure you have the correct one. You need a deep 19mm socket I think to remove it. Good luck.
Yes, I'm referring to the control climate lever......It's jammed.......
As for the PCV valve, I think I know which one it is, it's on the left side (looking from the front) on the very back......I had not noticed it before.....thanks
