sonar suspension

sonar suspension

ok i am wondering, how do i tell if i have sonar suspension and also, what exactly is it and what does it do? thanks

You would have buttons on the console next to the AT tranny mode switch. They would say something like Comfort and Sport. Its amazing how something that you see everyday can blend into the background.

Anyway, the button lablels (or my description of them) is what it does.

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have sonar if you have anything later than an 89 GXE.

does any body here have is and have pictures of it. Im curious to what it looks like and the switch and stuff. i tried lookin inine but could not find a whole lot

oh yeah that helps. now it makes sense. i couldn;t figure out what he meant when he siad by the A\T switch cause i thought everybody had a change holder there. i did more research on it last night. sounds like it would be neat unti it goes bad or you wanna lower or somethin. then it would be expensive and a b*&ch

I replaced the Sonar suspenion on my GXE with standard KYB's. No more sonar, but now the struts work. I left the switch.
