Dual Exaust on any Maxima's?

My next job on my maxima for the exterior is dualing up my flowmaster system, i need some ideas on how to run the custom pipes and what sizes i should get, it would be awsome if someone has pictures of a dual system on there maxima. the biggest problem is the spare tire which runs to the left of the car limiting space for the other flowmaster racing muffler. My car is also dropped so there isn't much room for it just to hang low.

I've got duals. Will post a pic of the duals if you post a pic of that 215 HP dyno sheet.

200hp is still high for a car that does 160hp to the crank when stock and new, cars like yours are dynoing less than stock or around it.

200hp at the wheels I don't think so. A VG motor is rated from factory @ 160hp at the crank @ the wheels its less, I can only understand some type of forced induction getting you 200 fwhp or even crank.

how much had to be pushed in? And was there any room left for the Spare?
Another thing is the exaust sensor, Is there a way to just bypass it with a resistor or something else,
Oh i need to ask about body kits for dual exaust, or do i have to buy the single and cut out the dual and heat wrap it

must be hard beating those Vtechs

like was said already...200hp VG with bolt-ons is a wet dream...hate to break it but you're probably not even breaking 130-140...truth hurts

the "exhaust" sensor is an OXYGEN sensor,
You bypass it, you get a check engine light, a car in limp mode, poor gas mileage, and even worse running.

Besides the o2 sensor is on your frontpipe way ahead of where ANY remotely legal dual setup would begin.

Im going from the headers back to the Y then i guess another Y pipe before i reach the Mufflers. everything is going to be new, and if i can trick the sensor with maybe a resistor, to make the computer think evrything is normal, then i can tie it back and not worry about it, Im not sure if its possible to due it that way. thats why im asking, and reguarding legal, hahaha, why would i be putting a flowmaster system on it, the one is deafining enough.

why? start from the cat and you wont have to worry about any of that, buy a y pipe from warpspeed and a high flo cat then just have an exhaust shop fab the rest of it. your talking huge amounts for a setup like you described.

Unless those magical red spark plug wires and dirt in your engine bay gives you an additional 40HP, then
of the dyno sheet.

ok, since you obviously know NOTHING about performance or modding, and apparently how your car works.
I am going to ignore the rest of this thread, and quite possibly every other post you do until you learn.

I own a VG and there is NO WAY IN HELL you are pushing 200hp at the crank without enourmous interior engine modification. (Full racing pistons, cams, Port and Polish, etc...). Unless you turbo it, a VG will not gain much hp.
Sad but true...

Somebody will probably post the pictures soon. It's just that people in the .Org are very proud of their Maxima's and are not keen to people that lie about their cars. Be proud of what you have. No need to look cool. The 160hp that come out of the VG are more than enough to have fun with.

because we both joined the .org only recently. That doesn't mean that I know less about cars than people with more posts. I've been working on cars since I was 11 with Uncle back in England. And If lying about your car makes you feel better about yourself, then go ahead, have a blast. But anyone in the .org who has claimed to have the best 3rd gen around usually doesn't start by talking crap about their rides.

You are excluding the 1992-1994 VE's(Turbo and non turbo) and the Turbo/ supercharged VG's, right?

I can't believe this post is real, this has to be someone with a fake screen name causing sh*t.

No one with half an ounce of brain power is going to claim 200whp out of a NA VG but it's your dream make it as big as you want.... oh and the car as fast as you want

Oh wait I didn't notice the Crome wheel trim, My Bad maybe you do have the ponies.

psssst it's spelled Chrome.

Before you get too carried away here's the statement from Venom...

You can gain up to 25% more horsepower and torque

So 160hp x (theroetical).25 = 40hp + 160hp = 200 Crank HP thats not the same as WHP and until you post a dyno STFU.

Why did I even respond. Sometimes I feel like helping these new people but then they don't even show an ounce of intelligence.

Whatever happen to the informative and stimulating Org known as the BBS.

I just wasted another minute of my life here.

So no duals for you.
