Owner Manual

Hi,

my owner manual says 91,

does it mean my max is one of the last 90 max?

It means your Maxima was produced in 1990 as a 1991 GXE model. VG engine and auto tranny. Nothin special if that is what your asking?

I bet a previous owner just got that manual to have one. Nothing much changed among GXE's, especially from 89-91.

By production date you should be a 91. If not they changed the next monday and you got hosed. I'd say check it out you might have a 91. Have some one run VIN.

I guess run a car fax to find out. Yours definitely sounds like it could be a very late 90 or early 91. If you have the polished wheels (91) style, and 91 owners manual that seems like a 91. What does your title say? How about your insurance cards? Maybe there are maxima VIN decoders on the web-what are the beginning numbers (we don't need the last few digits)
