Changed valve cover gasket today...pics

Well it was pretty easy. My front cover was leaking some oil and making a mess. I have a VE btw. I used some simple green to clean the cover, and it came out nice and bright.

I removed the coil packs and then about twelve 10mm closed-end nuts and washers. Then I lifted the rocker cover up and replaced with the new gasket.

P/n 13270-97E05 ~$13.00



Gaskets (left=new, right=old). The old one was brittle and cracked easily. I also applied some RTV gasket sealer close to the Crank Angle Sensor where it was leaking.
