Ground kit and fstb

just got home from matt's house, the ground wire kit went on smoothly and the fstb was a little harder to do.

after driving home the 50 miles or so from his house, you can feel an improvement on the low end. high end feels much better, i didnt have to mash the pedal to get around some soccer mom in the fast lane doing 55. not a bad mod for 60 bux

the fstb i highly recommend, i took the car down a curvy/hilly road, and i didnt roll half *** much going around corners. the bar was an otto industries 4th gen, it fit pretty good, but it needed some work, the a/c hose had to be bent, and new holes had to be drilled in the brackets, very nice job. and thats another mod i recommend. all in all it was the best investment ive made on the car

next check im ordering a cai from warpspeed, what do you guys think i should do next?

ill post some pics of the neat looking clear/red wiring and shining fstb

I highly recommend more suspension mods. Power mods are basically a lost cause on VG autos. I know from experience. Is the FSTB your only suspension mod?

You should've used a 5th gen otto fstb. No fitment issues at all.

He doesn't have a VE, I'm not sure if the 5th Gen bar fits the VG as good.

Well, do you want power or handling next?

I look forward to the pics. That's the wire kit I got, but I haven't installed it yet...

VE or VG, it doesn't matter actually. A 5th Gen bar will fit any 92-94 better because of where the A/C bracket is located. I've seen an excpetion to this rule once, but you just don't get the type with the long brackets that stick out.

The only cars those 4th Gen FSTBs fit okay on are the 89-91s.

I think they are both money well spent, especially the Parallel Link kit.

My profile lied (now corrected). I have a VG with the otto bar fitting perfectly. That thing ain't breaking and I would never think of buying a generic ebay one for just $20-30 less.

Just keep working on your handling. No use working on a VG auto (know from experience). If you want some serious power look into turbocharging your engine or an engine swap. But that's a whole different story...
