Will They Fit?? Please Help!!

I have a 92 Nissan Maxima GXE, my brother recently took off his heavy arelli maniak rims, 18's". He gave them to me for free and I wanted to know if they would fit on my car. I have sprint springs with kyb gr-2 struts. I know sprint has a 2" drop. The tires he had before are low profile, 18/235/45. I wanted to know if they would fit right onto the car like they did with his, he had eibach springs when he had them on. I really want to know if they will fit on my car, or should I sell the rims. Thanks.

They are off a 96 Nissan maxima with eibach springs which is a 1.5 drop in the front, and I think a 1.3 in the back or something like that. I just wanted to know if they would be a problem putting them on my car when I have sprint springs which is a 2" drop. I measured myself and it looks like it would fit, but I just want to be sure. Thanks.

P.S. My brother is just a nice guy I guess,LOL.

Wow, what a gift!

The drop shouldn't be an issue really. If it's going to rub, it's going to rub. If you have the wheels off the car turn them around and see if the offset is stamped somewhere on the back. It should be some number between 30-something and 40-something (hopefully), maybe with the letters "ET" with it.

Do you know the wheel width too? That might be stamped on the back too....

All I know is that the tires that the rims are on are, 235/40/18. That's all I know rite now, im hoping they won't rub tho because those rims are hot.

Well without knowing or finding out the offset on those (you could even try asking the manufacturer by giving the model, size, and bolt pattern) it's "iffy". With that size of tire it's totally dependant on the offset whether it will rub or not.

4th Gens have different offset requirements than 3rd Gens, which is why it's "iffy"....

You know the easiest way to see if they fit?

Put them on.
