Probubly another transmission issue. . .

I got 90 5-speed. The transmission makes noise in nuetral and in gear. Probubly the input and output shaft bearings. How hard is it to change em? And or is it worth paying to 850 to have a garage put em in? Any advice?

If you have never done a manual trans its not going to be easy . There really not that diff to do to me but for a avereage person I can see it being a pain . Lots of little parts and the shift forks/linkage is a bear . If you like buy all the bearings/seals . pack your trans up and ship it to me . $375 I will rebuild it and that includes ship back to you . Pm me if interested .

$375 is a good price for a rebuild. But how qualified are you? Kinda hard to put that kind of trust in someone you have no idea about. You know what I mean. But yeah, therealgoon9, that would be a pretty good deal on gettting your tranny rebuilt. Just find a master rebuild kit for a good price somewhere and you are set. Good luck!

Yeah, you'd probably def. need some diagrams, instrucitons, the right tools and a the knowledge of course. I can get you the Auto trans section out of the FSM if you would like. Let me know.
