1993 Maxima Ti

I'm looking at buying a 1993 Maxima Ti auto, could anyone tell me of any problems they've had with these cars. Thanx

There is no such thing as a Ti, just a GXE and SE

Hey Shane, in the land of down under, they only have the S, SE & SEL models. Unless u get a jap. import, that car has a VE engine. Welcome to the club.

Well, my '93 GXE is at 150k miles, and aside from normal things needed like tires and brakes, my windshield wiper motor just failed on me, the struts are apparently gone (can't hit the twisties with this car), and my engine is apparently leaking oil because the camshaft/crankshaft seals are worn..

I've heard of the Ti a couple times before from Aussie owners. I've never seen one in person though since I'm in the US.

The "Ti" and the "executive" are the only models we have in australia. We don't have the gxe or ge.

Do you have a digital camera?

With pics of the car itself (including the engine, very important) we could tell you much more about the car and what US model its closest relation is, since we have two US Maximas in 93 (SE and GXE) which have two different engines.
