Shifter boot position...

I just got a 1994 SE and it had the aftermarket aluminium shift **** on it.. I'm going to leave it there becasue I don't have a leather one to put on... Ok heres the question... Where should I position the shift boot?

see the pics on my car domain site... http://www.cardomain.com/id/3rdgense
then make your selection...

I like the second one.. but I'm open to suggestions.. my friends like the second one, I wanted to see what you guys thought...

maybe I am just old school or whatever, but I like it where you don't see much of the metal.

#2 looks like you'd be driving a school bus or old truck. I'd go w/ #1
