Ok, so I got a check engine light about 3-4 weeks ago. Ran the self-diagnostic mode and got a code 33 (o2 sensor). So I ordered a new o2 sensor, put it in and the light went away for a few, but now its back. It seems that it only comes on when the car is warmed up. And it will go away sometimes. Checked the code again and its still a code 33. It has a small miss at idle and low rpms and idle w/ fluctuate when slowing down to a stop light or something like that. Anyone have any ideas that will help me out? Need to get this fixed so I can sell it

DID you made the "reset memory procedure" on the ecu after remplacing-it.. also there's a relay to reset on the "time unit control" wich is the unit telling to change the 02 sensor every 30 000 km. not shure where it is located in 89 but look in a service manual .Both procedure and location indicated there.
