Another DQ

I'm replacing my front corner lamps and have removed them from my car. However, I'm having trouble removing the bulbs and their wiring unit from the casing. It seems to be attached at a point that slides onto the casing, but it's stuck or something. Is there any way to get this off, or do I just need to force it off?

no, no turning involved, just pulling. it's like there's a catch on the glide that won't let it come off.

there is a little "button" you can press on one side of the connector while pulling it apart
it's kind of hard sometimes so you can use a flat head screwdriver to push down on that piece while you pull it
