Vacum hose

Almost all of the vacum hose on my car is hardened ,cracked, or broken(fixed it with electrical tape). I was wondering about how much hose i would need to replace everything, and also if it were possible to get it in colors.

They sell it at the auto parts store...most likely in multiple colors, I'm not sure how long a length you need, but you could take each off individually and add up the lengths...then buy that much...

you can usually get 15-20ft colored rolls off Ebay for like $8-10. that should be more than enough. or you can just meassure all your hoses neede and go down to your local parts store and get regular black hose off their rolls(might be cheaper)

You could also get the colored silicone stuff like I have from Hose Techniques.

I just bought a package of colored silicone hose from autozone. Cost less than $15 if I remember right and it includes three different sizes. So far I have replaced all of the small hose that I can reach without taking the intake off and I still have some left over. I do recommend the colored stuff not only because it looks better, but also because then you know which hoses you have replaced and can find them much easier if you are searching for a loose hose or a vacuum leak.

I wanted to get a black silicon hose kit, but just decided to replace them with normal hoses. I should have recorded how much I used

I think the silicon hoses have a longer life time, but I dont know for sure.
