i fill my trunk lid fulll of expanding foam and it now has expanded into the locking mechanism and will not unlock

 

figure out what kind of solvent will dissolve your expanding foam, then spray some in the lock. That's about the only thing I can think of right off the top of my head. Either that or go make a spare key at Wal Mart, then use the spare to keep working the lock until you can get it to unlock.

 

Yeah find something that will eat at the foam.

 

Use a knife and cut it out....?
