# of times getting stopped

tonight i seriously got pulled over for no reason other than have a gigantic wing loud exhaust and i just happen to love near boston. my question for you all is how often you guys get pulled over for wether it is for doing somthing or rather doing nothing but existing. for me i usually get 1 ticket a year and get pulled over 6 ISH. this year alone i have 1 ticket and been pulled over 10 times this year so far. the ticket is fine (45 in a 30) but the rest is just annoying . i would say i should slow down but with the exception of the speeding fine i have been pulled over all going the speed limit . but oh well i am just being curious

i got pulled over because a cop saw "me" ride my motorcycle fast around a school when it was actually my friend and he pulled me over when i got on it. i got pulled over in my maxima because my license plate fell down (it was in the window) and then lastly (this is actually a great story) i got pulled over because i was leaving a business of a friend of mine where some stuff got stolen. a head unit had been stolen from the place before. well, i had sold my head unit to him but my dad didn't like that i had done that since i lost a bit of money since its a year or so old. well, i got the head unit back and had also got a msd ignition unit from him for my graduation. well i had both of these in the rear seat. the cop pulled me over and asked me where i was coming from. told him it was my friend's place of business and he saw the stuff in the back seat and he's like where'd you get those... i told him all about it and he gave them a call and i finally got to go. after i had left i thought about what had happened and then laughed my *** off because of what had happened. it was an insane coincidence that i had that stuff in my seat and got pulled over leaving his place after they had been robbed earlier. alrighty... i'm done now.

I got pulled over after I made a quick lane change to get on the freeway (the freeway entrance is so messed up anyway with construction lines are painted wrong-whatever), but the cop was a sheriff and said he didn't want to give me a ticket for a traffic violation, even though there wasn't any, he said he wasn't concerned with any of that but he said my driving was suspicious enough for him to inquire my evening and what was visible in my car.

Needless to say, i had a bad head cold and was returning from youth group. He badgered me with the questions:
Where are you coming from? -youth group. where? -encinitas. whereabout? -parallel to the 5 freeway on santafe dr. What do you have in the car? cd's, carpet a stereo? I didn't ask you to be cynical, i'm just making sure everythings checked out.... He took my license and checked my record and clearence etc. I thought only red max's got pulled over for useless things but i guess i was wrong.

Never been pulled over im my max, i should have a few times. The only time i have been pulled over was when I was driving a 99 sts, a bad day and a 300hp northstar don't make for a good ticket. I was doing 78 in a 55 in a construction area, but i was lucky that he didn't get me about 10 seconds earlier when i was doing 110. Ended up paying 160 to go to stop class instead of having the 500 dollar ticket on my record.

you should ease up a bit usmanasif, people are jus tryin to have a little fun....anyway, I haven't gotten pulled over yet, but I probably could've when I was in a line of 15 or so cars all doing about 100+. I just thought it was funny that 15 cars took up the left lane doin 50 over the speed limit and no one got caught.

I got pulled over for the first time about 2-3 weeks ago. I was driving to visit my friend at college which is approximately 60 miles away and it must be the easiest trip ever because it is literally 60 miles going straight down a highway. Well anyway on the way back I had two friends in the car with me and I was doing between 75 and 85(highway was basically empty... I don't usually speed but when friends are in the car I feel pressured to lol... well that and my friend had to be somewhere)

So lo and behold there is a cop sitting there in the grass on the side... I knew it was too late, I suppose I could've slammed on the brakes but that would look a little too obvious so I just gently held the brake to get down to less than 80... then the lights are flashing and I, like an idiot, pull over to the left side of the highway on the island in the middle So the cop comes up telling me how I'm not supposed to pull over on the median then I give him my license and reg and he comes back to my car saying "You know what John, you seem like like a nice guy I'm gonna let you off with a warning"... By the way he caught me doing 77 in a 55.

My friend said pulling over to the left might have helped me, since it shows I obviously don't get pulled over a lot I'm just glad I didn't get a ticket and don't have to deal with insurance going through the roof.

I've had my max for less than a year and have been pulled over once. I drove the car around for a few months with the previous owner's plates and then for another few weeks with the temp plates, and the night I picked up the permanent plates, the temp tag fell off. The cop pulled me over the day after because I hadn't put the new plates on yet, no ticket though, I havn't had a ticket in almost three years.
