Do they make that kind of paint job in any other colors?

A blue/black one would be totally kickass

I envy David's max.. didn't know he got rid of his 17"s for the 18"s... still looks good.

BTW, you can get Chromallusion in almost any color you want.

i actually like the 18" chromes better than the old 17's that were white. im not a big fan of white wheels tho, i think they look kinda cheesy. the reson i was postin tho is because i was lookin at the angledriveway.jpg and looked at the headlights. i knew the bmw headlights didnt line up exactly, but look at the way those are placed in there. they are set back too far. the corner lamps stick out farther than the headlights! is that how the bmw conversion worked out for everyone? it looks kinda ghetto. if thats how it is for everyone, we definitly need to have some real projectors made to actually fit our car. im tired of looking at my old school stock headlamps, but damn i would rather keep them than have ones that dont fit anywhere close to being correct.

how much do you think that paint job cost him? when i get my kit on i wanna get a new paint job. maybe if they have a blue shade in that Chromallusion that looks good ill go with that. i wanna get a paint job that looks like it has some depth too it. what kinda paints should i be llookin at and how much do you think it will cost to have it done. the only thing is, what do you do about the engine compartment? davids is still white. do people usually not bother painting in there?

I believe he paid a little over a $1000 for the paint job.. that's cuz he had a friend who did all the painting for him. Typically Chromallusion paint runs about $3000 - $5000.

Yeah, I know that here in North Dakota, as well as where I'm REALLY from in Chicago, the Chromalusion paint job cost around $3500. Believe me, I've been pricing that paint job ever since I saw it on this guy's Olds 98.

I remember seeing David's car pics way back when I first got into Nissans. Doesn't Don in Texas have that paint job too, but in a different shade?

Don had that paint in a different shade checkered over his front end but he took it off. Probably attracted to much attention..

Since the BMW lamps have the plastic cover over them, then it only looks like they don't line up with the side markers because the lamps are actually further in. The modification looks typical of any BMW install. The only place they don't fit right is near the grille, where they typically have to angle in behind the grille a little, otherwise they will hit the grill because they are just a bit wider than factory lights.

That is a seriously kick *** paintjob, not a big fan of the colors, but the effect is amazing!

When I get everything sorted out with my Max, I'll have to look into what I could do with something like that
